from Monterrey, México. led by Architect Selene Velázquez, Restaurika works on the research, conservation, restoration and promotion of tangible and intangible cultural heritage. they have restored and rehabilitated historic buildings across México and have turned a piece of their research and passion for architecture into the collection of flooring mosaics in “las artes decorativas bajo nuestros pies” and “una cajita de pisos.” we love how they’ve turned their knowledge of architecture into art that helps us find the beauty and value in something that can very easily go unnoticed - floors.
