Lulo Demarco (Montevideo, 1991) is an interdisciplinary artist who began his practice in 2014, between Uruguay and Argentina, founding the video art collective BásicaTV and using the UV Estudios gallery as its central hub for action and community. he works with video, sculpture, food, and any medium that can be edited. recently, Demarco has undertaken research encompassing relational art, curating, and group experiences. from a bioqueer perspective, his practice focuses on real and imagined life systems and their modes of operation through elusive strategies that shape enjoyment and the absurd.
