Julieta Oro (Mendoza, 1986) holds a degree in Visual Arts from the Universidad Nacional de las Artes (UNA). she participated in art critiques and workshops with Pablo Siquier, Hernán Salamanco, and Tulio de Sagastizábal. she has been involved with CIAntifascistas (Center for Artistic Research) and the training programs Taller Compartido at the galería CRUDO in Rosario, as well as the fourth edition of Artistas x Artistas at the Fundación El Mirador.

she was selected for the 26th Klemm Prize and the Premio de Pintura Banco Central (2022). she received an Honorable Mention at the Salón Félix Amador in Vicente López (2020). she participated in several group exhibitions, including: Ozio, curated by Ana Volonté (La Plata, 2024); Atravesar el espejo (Praxis Galería, 2023); Consumos de verano (Wunsch Gallery and Self-portrait Gallery III at Laboratorio de Festival, 2022), both curated by Ana Markman; and Las horas, curated by Carolina Cuervo and Víctor Florido (Fundación OSDE, 2022). she also had a solo exhibition: in the show un pueblo adentro tuyo, curated by Gaspar Núñez (Talenta Galería, 2023).
